Method
- Boil water in your kettle
- Wash then thinly slice the ginger and turmeric - no need to peel
- Add the slices to your mug along with a pinch of freshly ground black pepper
- Pour the hot water over the ginger, turmeric and pepper in your mug. Allow to steep for 3 to 4 minutes - longer if you like it stronger.
- To finish, stir in the honey and add a slice of fresh lemon
